The Healing of Bartimaeus
Mark 10:46-52
I. A Blind 20/20 Visionary.
A. He knew who Jesus really was. He recognizes Jesus as Messiah and
knows he has the authority and the power to heal him.
B. Bartimaeus, though physically, possessed spiritual insight that
others lacked. Despite his physical limitations, he saw Jesus as the
Great Physician who could heal him.
C. Our challenge is to recognize our own spiritual blindness and seek
Jesus for healing. Are we willing to reveal our emptiness and cry out
to him?
